What we do
Trent creates custom programs, specifically designed for the client, to optimise performance in sport, business or life. Based on the clients level, skill and experience, and reflecting their goals and aspirations, Trent designs a program to overcome the mental or physical hurdles that may be standing between them and better performance. By looking at the entire system within our bodies - rather than just select components as many training programs do - Trent explores the true potential of what his clients can achieve.
Infinite Performance runs sessions and programs in three main disciplines: Athletic Coaching & Development, Business Coaching & Team-building, and Mindfulness & Self-awareness.
2.1
Athletic Coaching & Development
Regardless of age, current level of development, or the sport played, Trent takes a wholistic approach to his clients’ athletic development. What this means in practice, is that he doesn’t selectively look at one component of physical output - he looks at the whole system. Central to this philosophy is the simple notion: breath controls the brain, brain controls the body - mastering this leads to belief, which in turn leads to better (or infinite) performance.
Based on the individual athlete, their level of development and performance, their strengths and weaknesses, and their goals - Trent designs a custom (and flexible) program to improve their performance. Whether it be improving running patterns, or developing better movement techniques. Building strength, improving co-ordination or agility, or looking at running technique and biomechanics - Trent looks at the whole system, the whole athlete, to find potential areas for improvement. This includes the mindset that underpins everything the athlete is trying to do.
Almost all of Trent’s work in Athletic Coaching & Development is delivered one-to-one. The ability to tailor a program specifically to the individual athlete, and the ability to adjust that program as required, is a critical factor in the success Trent’s clients have experienced. Trent has been known to scrap an entire planned session, and design a new one on the spot - based on his read of the athlete, their headspace, or how their body is feeling. As far as Trent is concerned, this intimate knowledge and understanding of his clients, and the flexibility it brings in terms of program design, is simply a non-negotiable. This does put a limit on the number of athletes Trent can work with, but he’d rather that, than compromise on the level of attention he can give his clients.

Business Coaching & Team Building
Trent has spent decades working with teams and businesses looking to find competitive advantage and build better culture.
He utilises his significant experience as a consultant and speaker, to find techniques and processes designed to go beyond the cookie-cutter programs that many corporate or team clients have experienced in the past.
By leveraging his understanding of the client and their goals, and by getting to know the people, the team and the environment, he designs custom programs and workshops from the ground up, to challenge the group dynamic and facilitate growth.
2.3
Mindfulness & Self-awareness
Mindfulness has become a bit of a buzz word lately, particularly in the sporting fields, as athletes old and new discover how important mindset is to elite performance.
But the truth is, it's been at the heart of Trent's philosophy for decades.
As Trent reminds us, breath controls the brain, brain controls the body - mastering this leads to belief, which in turn leads to better (or infinite) performance. As this mantra suggests, Trent believes the brain - and the way we use it - plays a crucial role in how we manage our performance. Whether that's on the field as a professional AFL footballer, in the boardroom as a successful business person, or at home as a full time parent - our mindset, and how we approach our mental health, is a critically important.
Mindfulness and Self-awareness sessions can be designed as individual or group sessions, depending on the circumstances, and typically go for an hour. Using a multitude of techniques, Trent challenges the clients thought processes in an engaging and non-confrontational way, so as to unlock any blockages that are impeding better performance or growth
